Best Online Pocker Site

October 6, 2006

It has been a big year for poker and for online gaming. We have been named the best online pocker site because of all the new features it has introduced in 2006.,Even in no limit pocker, I'd still usually raise with a big pair in late position because people aren't going to give you credit for playing a pocker hand. Another good general point for this topic is that you should be willing to play more hands preflop depending on how your opponent usually plays after the flop. This is good news to you since your marginal hands can pick up a lot of pots with that will be pumped up due to his preflop raises if he plays poorly enough after the flop.

My first instinct told me that he was slowplaying trips since he made such a quick and automatic call and was probably waiting to raise on a later street. To my surprise, my opponent now raise my river bet! Sounds a lot like waiting around hoping to win the lottery if you ask me. By letting him bet my hand for me, I let him bluff the turn with few to no outs and then also let him feel obigated to take one final stab on the river with nothing hoping that I will fold.

The turn came off the Qh and my opponent again checked to me. The answer is that you really shouldn't ever want to be playing a QJo. What I want to talk about today is how you should approach the aggressive nature of today's ring games in terms of blind play.

Basic idea here is to just stop playing so many small suited connected hands. When you move up to $5/$10 blinds the game becomes much more tricky and aggressive and you'll need more moves than anything else in that game. The reason this play is so bad is because not only could you be in trouble in the actual hand values department, but you are giving up the initiative and will usually have to forfeit the pot to the raiser when you miss. To sum it up, now is the time to stop playing around and start playing tight/aggressive poker online.

I also have the benefit of getting a huge amount of value from playing online backgammon. So generally these tight full table games will be unattractive to the run of the mill solid player. I've been playing pocker seriously for a little over a year and a half. I've found that the vast majority of my opponents simply cannot help themselves and have to bet the turn and try to take the pot when I check.

Another angle is to just call and then lead into them or checkraise when the board comes such that it's unlikely they hit it based on their previous raising standards. If you flop a monster you can make some nice massage bets to get action and then build up from there. They've seen many players raising on weak partypocker hands in shorthanded, and they are out to be the sheriff and call you down in the hope that you're bluffing. I realize this hand isn't very deep or abnormal, but my flop call was very loose and was entirely based on who my opponent was.
